Independent .NET assessment

Is your .NET application becoming harder to change, release or maintain?

In five business days, I identify the largest technical and delivery risks in your application and provide a practical, prioritized improvement plan.

  • Fixed price: €950 excluding VAT
  • No long-term contract
  • Independent assessment
Your application Architecture Code Delivery Dependencies ! ! Risk Risk 30/60/90 plan One structured review · Risks flagged · Prioritized plan

Do you recognize this?

Risky releases

Releases require too much preparation or feel risky.

Technical debt

Technical debt repeatedly delays product work.

Key-person risk

Essential knowledge is concentrated in one or two developers.

Unclear modernization path

Upgrading the older .NET application keeps being postponed, and the team disagrees about what should be modernized first.

Incident load

Production incidents consume development capacity.

Slow onboarding

New developers take too long to become productive.

A complete rewrite is rarely the first answer. The first step is identifying where the real risks and constraints are.

What is included

One fixed price, four stages. Everything below is part of the assessment.

Discover

  • 90-minute technical discovery session with your team
  • Up to two stakeholder conversations

Analyse

  • Review of architecture and representative code
  • Review of build, deployment, and release practices

Prioritize

  • The three largest technical or delivery risks
  • Five prioritized recommendations

Present

  • 45-minute findings presentation
  • Questions answered in plain language

What you take away

A concise management and technical report with a 30/60/90-day action plan: what to fix now, what can wait, and why.

At the end of the assessment, you will have clarity on:

  • which risks require immediate action
  • which technical debt can safely wait
  • whether modernization is necessary
  • what is slowing releases and delivery
  • which improvements offer the greatest value
  • what to address over the next 30, 60, and 90 days

Frequently asked questions

Practical questions, straight answers. Anything else, ask during the introduction call.

Do you need access to the entire codebase?
No. Read-only access to one representative codebase is enough. During the introduction we agree which repositories, documentation, and pipeline configuration are relevant. If direct access is not possible, a guided walkthrough with one of your developers works as an alternative.
Will you recommend a complete rewrite?
Rarely. A complete rewrite is expensive, risky, and usually unnecessary. The assessment focuses on identifying where targeted improvements reduce the most risk. If the evidence genuinely points to a rewrite, I will say so and explain why.
Can you implement the recommendations?
Yes. Implementation, a broader Discovery, or ongoing architecture support can follow as a separate agreement. There is no obligation: the report is written so your own team or partner can execute it.
Is this a security audit?
No. Obvious security risks that surface during the review are flagged, but the assessment is not a penetration test and does not result in a formal security certification.
Can you sign an NDA?
Yes. Signing a non-disclosure agreement before receiving access is standard practice. Confidential information is used only for this assessment.
Can the assessment be delivered in Dutch?
Yes. The sessions, the report, and the findings presentation can be delivered in Dutch or English, whichever your team prefers.
When does the five-business-day delivery period begin?
After the discovery session has taken place and the agreed information and access have been received. From that moment, the report and findings presentation are delivered within five business days.

Plan a 30-minute introduction
